适用范围
GB/T 1438《锥柄麻花钻》分为四个部分，本部分为GB/T 1438的第4部分。
本部分代替GB/T 1438.4-1996《锥柄麻花钻 第4部分：莫氏锥柄超长麻花钻的型式和尺寸》。
GB/T 1438的本部分规定了莫氏锥柄超长麻花钻的型式和尺寸。
本部分适用于直径6.00mm~50.00mm和总长为200.00mm~630.00mm的莫氏锥柄超长麻花钻。
本部分与GB/T 1438.4-1996相比有下列技术性修改：
——增加了前言；
———“本标准”改为“本部分”；
———在范围中增加了总长为200.00mm~630.00mm的要求；
———图1中，增加了横刃线；
———对表1中直径范围的尺寸进行了修改；
———将4.3“高性能的”改为“精密级”。
