【摘要】:ThisCodeprovidesuniformtestmethodsforconductingandreportingthermalperformancecharacteristicsofwetmechanicaldraft,naturaldraft,wet-drycoolingtowers,closedcircuitevaporative(wet)coolers,andwetsurfaceair-cooledsteamcondensers(WSACC).ThisCodealsoprovidesdirectionsandrulesforconductingandreportingplumeabatementofwet-drycoolingtowersandwaterconsumptionofanycoolingtower.ThepurposeofthisCodeistoproviderulesformonitoringthermalperformanceorforconductingacceptancetestsonallofthecoolingequipmentreferencedabove.Itprovidesrulesformonitoringplumeabatementandconductingplume-abatementacceptancetestsonwet-drycoolingtowers.Thetestcanbeusedtodeterminecompliancewithcontractualobligationsandcanbeincorporatedintocommercialagreements.AtestshallbeconsideredanASMECodeTestonlyifthetestprocedurescomplywiththoseallowedinthisCodeandthepost-testuncertaintyanalysisresultsareinaccordwithsubsection1.3.ThisCodeprovidesrulesfordeterminingtheperformanceofallreferencedcoolingequipmentwithregardtothethermalcapability,deviationfromdesignthermalcapability,ordeviationfromdesigncoldwatertemperature.ThisCodealsoprovidesproceduresforassessingthecompliancetospecifiedplumeabatementrequirementscharacteristicofawet-drycoolingtower.Itisnotintendedfortestsofatmosphericwindtowers,drycoolers,spraycanals,orponds,althoughsectionsofthisCodemaybeusefulforthatpurpose.ThedeterminationofspecialdataorverificationofguaranteesthatareoutsidethescopeofthisCode,shallbemadeonlywithwrittenagreementofthepartiestothetest.Theagreedmethodsofmeasurementandcomputationshallbedefinedinwritingandfullydescribedinthetestreport.
